From a humble beginning in 1975 as a shopping mall kiosk that only sold whole bean coffee, Second Cup has become Canada's largest specialty coffee retailer. And since its inception, Second Cup has grown to more than 360 cafés across Canada and over 15 cafés internationally, making Second Cup a second home to hundreds of guests every day.
The year 2006 marks the 12th Anniversary of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. The success of our wonderful enterprise reflects the societal changes that are leading us, slowly but surely, to greater self-responsibility in health care. Wholesome nutrition is indisputably the corner stone of good health.
The first restaurant opened in Toronto, Ontario in March of 1968. Right from the start, the concept was simple: sell quality subs, make them fresh, and serve them fast. And above all, give customers value for their money. That thinking was what brought people to our restaurants back in the 60's, and it continues to create new customers today.
