Seeking to sell a retail Dollar Store in a busy traffic plaza.
Sales are growing, I racked up debt due to covid lockdowns and supply constraint issues from 2020-2021, the issues are no longer occurring and the business is ready to launch. Out of all brick and mortar business models: dollar stores are the future winners.
The store is quite new, construction was completed in 2019, I opened the store shortly before covid lockdowns came and supply chain issues came into effect and 2020 hurt my cash flow since rent is high here and I could not attain enough inventory.
Haven’t been profitable yet, but sales have been growing since June at 10-15% per month now that stocking is possible through our many vendors. If covid didn't happen, this store would be highly profitable by now. The startup cost was $400,000 CAD.
It's a 4400 square foot store with lots of opportunities to grow the revenue through establishing e-commerce, curbside pickup, lockers, lottery, and the location has rights to open a shipping/mailing center. Bottom line is that I need more stock right away and lack the cash flow to do so.
1. Amazing location with many townhomes still being built within walking distance.
2. No other nearby plazas or competition
3. Great local supplier contracts with net 30.
4. Strong margins on most products Skip and uber eats now allow stores like ours which would drive sales.
5. Good and new construction with high-end fixtures and lighting.
The asking price is $275,000 (below my costs) which gives you the inventory, fixtures, brand name rights (Dollar Up), supplier contracts, and website domain. You will need to invest at least $40,000 into more inventory to bring the store to max inventory levels.
Another option is to partner for up to 50% of shares at $150,000 and I work with you to grow this new business into a success.
