General Summary
Kirazli Valley (Cherry District) is one of my favorite region where some of the most beautşful vineyards can be found here. This vineyard is one of them. The Wine Paradise, is tuced away hidden behind a creek away from the main road. The winery produces a number of differents wines and in fact is probably the most delicious wine in Aegean as well. This is a must- see vineyard. It's one of those poscards shots- lush green grass surrounding with a rich blue mountain with a set of perfectly jagged peaks, snow-capped, jutting between the bacground and the sky.. So what better place to put a winery then here? The Aegean region has some of the Turkeys best wines, in my opinion, so the combination of unbeatable views and amazing wines is nothing short of bliss.
Location
Kirazli (Cherry Village) is a wonderful little Aegean village of 900 inhabitants. It is located 9km inland from Kusadasi coast, which means pleasant nights even in hottest months of July and August. Most of the houses in the village date from the 19th century or earlier. The village lies in a lovely bowl of hills surrounded by cherry orchards, vineyards and olive groves. The higher hills are covered with pine forest. Nearly all houses command a pastoral panorama extending over many miles, undisturbed by any modern development. The surroundings are full of idyllic country walks. Some tourism has unfortunately come into the village in recent years, bringing with it some souvenir shops, a dozen restaurants and a few guesthouses. But farming remains the principal activity. Villagers make wine and olive oil, and grow some of the best cherries and peaches in the country. They greet strangers with a smile and very often invite them in for a cup of tea. This land of paradise will only cost you 79 000 Euro now but soon will be more than 100 000 Euro as high class of Turkey and Europe discovers this wonderful village which offers a piece and quite in a secluded and exotic nature land as well as being so close to the magnificent sandy beaches and famous nightlife of Kusadasi.
