How a local franchisee cleaned up at a Molly Maid convention
A Barrie business owner has received a “special award” following Molly Maid’s recent bi-annual convention.
Rhonda Millsap, who took over the local franchise for the Barrie area in 2011, was recognized with the company’s Leadership Excellence Award.
The honour is in recognition of a franchise partner who has exhibited outstanding leadership.
“Rhonda Millsap truly is a model franchise partner operating their business at the highest level of service possible to their customers and within the community,” stated a news release from the company. “Molly Maid is pleased to recognize Rhonda and thank her for her outstanding efforts and dedication to her team and clients.”
The first home cleaned by Molly Maid was in Mississauga, by founders Adrienne and Chris Stringer back in 1979.
Since then, the company has expanded across Canada, as well as into the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and Portugal. Each year, Molly Maid says its franchises complete more than two million home cleanings.
