What makes our pizzas different and special, and why do our guests enjoy coming to Famoso? In the true spirit of Italian cooking, we believe in using authentic ingredients, and preparing them from scratch with passion. We use a highly refined “00” flour that makes a pizza crust that is low in gluten for easy digestion and endless enjoyment.

Our pizza dough is made fresh daily, and every pizza is hand-stretched by trained pizzaiolos, then fire-baked in a 900F bell-shaped forno (oven) imported from Italy.

Although Famoso is known for its Neapolitan pizzas, the Famoso menu also offer hand-crafted Italian pastas, entrees, tapas and our signature salads, sandwiches, and wings, providing guests great tasting options for anytime of the day.

Famoso began in Edmonton AB years ago after visiting Naples, Italy in 2005. The dream of bringing an authentic Neapolitan pizzeria back to Canada soon materialized and it has now grown to 30 locations from BC to AB, SK and ON. With a trajectory to scale even more, this Canadian-owned and operated company offers extensive restaurant and franchise expertise to develop your business.
