Franchise Spotlight: Automotive

Countless franchise opportunities include auto hire, repair, parts, cleaning, garage and leasing specialists.

There were 29.8 million vehicles on Canadian roads in 2020, up from 25.4 million five years earlier, according to statistics from Statista.

All those vehicles, which are essential for most households, periodically require cleaning, maintenance work, replacement parts and other automotive services.

Automotive franchises include auto repair, auto hire, car cleaning, garage and vehicle leasing opportunities.

Garage franchises aside, they usually don’t require a background in automotive-related sectors, although in some cases, it might enhance applicants’ chances of success.

Oftentimes, owners of independent automotive businesses choose to rebrand under a franchise umbrella in order to benefit from the buying power and competitive prices, wide-ranging support, market research, marketing advantages and digital footprint of a large, flourishing network.
