There are three leased locations in Osoyoos. The first is at Spirit Ridge Beachfront which serves the largest resort in the South Okanagan. This location also serves the largest campground in town. Our second location is at Walnut Beach Resort and serves not just that property but also all the recreational properties and resorts on Lakeshore Drive on the east side of Osoyoos Lake. Our third location is Desert Sunrise Marina, which is the town marina and main boat launch for town. This location serves Watermark Resort, with whom we partner, as well as anyone wanting to rent or charter a boat from the west side of the lake.

Expansion Potential:

The existing business is seasonal (six-month operation including opening in the spring and winterizing in the fall).

This would permit new owner(s) to enjoy the off-season in a warmer climate, or remain in town and add services such as shrink wrapping, detailing, service, and storage. This would be a natural fit for the business. There is also an opportunity around partnering on an expanded marina with 100+ new slips.

Competition / Market:

Our three locations allow us to service our partner resorts as conveniently as possible but also serve to secure much of the commercial marina space in town. This represents a barrier to entry for new competitors in the market.

The other existing competition is either unlicensed operators offering uninsured charters or poorly managed operators with old, unreliable fleets.
