Manchu Wok is a proudly Canadian based operation. The company was first opened in 1980. With restaurant quality Chinese cuisine but in a quick service setting, Manchu Wok soon spread across North America and overseas to Germany, Korean and Japan.
Manchu Wok is soon approaching the fourth decade in the quick service restaurant (QSR) business and have been fortunate enough to be recognized as a leader in this business. Currently, Manchu Wok has built 98 locations worldwides and will continue to grow not only in Traditional mall settings but also the Non-Tradtional market expansions will be taken place as part of our future development strategy.

New 10-Year Lease

The Pen Centre is the largest shopping mall in the Niagara Region. It has over one million square feet of floor space and features over 180 stores and services. Anchor tenants include Hudson’s Bay, Sport Chek, Walmart, Home Sense and Landmark Cinemas.
In 2012, the mall invested $13 million renovation to the common space, including 3,600 sq. ft. of new skylights, a new food court, floors and ceiling treatments.
The premises currently operating under Tiki Ming brand and will convert to Manchu Wok right after current lease expiry. It is located in food court among other national brands like: Thai Express, NY Fries, A&W, Jimmy the Greek, Mucho Burrito, Freshly Squeezed, KFC, Teriyaki Experience, Umi Sushi, Charleys Philly Steaks and Dairy Queen. This opportunity will be a turnkey project with approximate 10 years lease term and possession in early 2022.
The MTY training program involves both classroom and in-restaurant training delivered by experienced trainers. Full 3 weeks of Training is included in the price. In addition to franchisee training, our corporate field trainer comes to your restaurant to help you successfully open your location. Then, the Business Development Manager (BDM) will focus on planning sales building initiatives.
Our dedication does not end when you open the doors of your restaurant. We provide on-going communication, operational tools, job aids and Learning courses.
Additionally, your BDM provides on-going support with regular visits to your restaurant, and is committed to answering your questions and helping you run an efficient and profitable business. These highly skilled professionals will become an important part of your business success. They will give you operational suggestions as well as opportunities and ideas to promote your business.
