LINKS Institute is a registered private vocational institution in Manitoba. It has been in operation since 2021, when it made an innovative entry to the post secondary education market with dedicated community and social service worker programs. Since that time, LINKS Institute has expanded their programs to include specializations:
Mental wellness & harm reduction worker diploma
Intensive applied counselling diploma
Child & Youth Care Worker diploma
Peer support worker diploma
LINKS Institute also offers a medical unit clerk program.
As all programs are offered in a hybrid/online model, it draws students from across the whole of Manitoba- students do not need to relocate to sign up.
The business is ripe for another existing private vocational institution, interested entrepreneur or person with a passion for education to take it to the next level. LINKS Institute's programs are eligible for Manitoba Student Aid, First Nation Band Funding, Government of Manitoba education and training funding, and more.
LINKS Institute has also built an impressive portfolio of workplace training, education and consulting relationships. LINKS Institute holds revenue generating contract with a public institution.
Starting a private vocational institute from scratch comes with challenging barriers to entry. This opportunity provides an open door to the market.
The school currently has a leased building in Brandon, however the lease is due to end and can be sub-let to someone else if the buyer does not want this location. There are no capital assets involved in this sale.
