The business was started in 2020, and grew quickly despite the covid pandemic. We’ve had year over year growth, and are holding steady this year even though the economy is struggling. We credit this to our excellent customer service and loyal customer base, which routinely supports the store and continues to grow in number. We have over 3000 customers in our email/phone database, and a robust loyalty program that encourages repeat visits. Our POS system, inventory database and website are capable of handling in-store and ecommerce transactions as well as generating detailed sales and inventory reports.

We also have a large social media following, with an attractive instagram and facebook account that features almost daily posts. It’s a reflection of the store’s boho aesthetic and the lifestyle photos from our brands. The store itself provides a stylish, but comfortable shopping experience with large windows, original wood floors, beautiful custom fixtures and an open layout.

The retail space is approximately 1200 sq ft, and is midway through a 5-year lease. The successful buyer will be able to take over the lease, or possibly negotiate a new one with the landlord. The landlord has been excellent and quick to respond to any issues. Electrical was upgraded in 2022, and the unit contains a bathroom, three change-rooms, and a storage room with ample shelving. There is a large countertop which can be used for photo-shoots, or could be used as an office desk.

The purchase price is based on a valuation of 3x EBITDA and includes inventory (constantly changing but around $70,000 negotiable), equipment such as POS hardware, printers, and store fixtures including retail counter, antique jewelry case, racking, custom displays, tables and lighting. Also included would be a complete list of suppliers and sales reps to help you transition to ownership smoothly. If it’s so great, why are you selling? The reason for selling is that the owner has an additional two businesses, and running three is too much. The owner will provide training and support to the buyer for one month, and potentially more if needed.

What do you need to be a successful buyer? We’re looking for someone who shares our values and is passionate about being a force for good. You will have some creative skills and an eagerness to learn. As the owner, your responsibilities will include buying/sourcing inventory for the store, overseeing the inventory management and financial responsibilities of the business. We have 1 full time and 1 part time staff who handle all sales and customer service. A bonus for you, would be if you have experience managing an ecomm website/facebook account, and marketing or promotional skills. We feel this area could drive even more sales if maximized to its full potential.
