  • earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design and photography from the University of Alberta
  • working as an art director at an advertising firm for ten years
  • working as a sales and marketing professional at Xerox for 30 years.

I am retiring now and I want to pass this business along to someone else to run and make money from. I want to go bike the world while I still have the energy.

Trading hours:

Rent a Rose is open everyday from 10:00 to 4:00 except Wednesdays. It is not necessary to work all those hours to run this simple business. I I have made this time available to answer the odd phone inquiry or to book and in person consultation. This business can be run with about four - six hours of labour a week. The big days are Thursdays when customers generally pick up their floral orders that need to be packed and ready, and Mondays when they return the rentals that need to be unpacked and put away .
